Princess Mononoke (1999)

This movie directed by Hayao Miyazaki and written by Neil Gaiman. This movie was played by Billy Crudup as Ashitaka, Minnie as Eboshi, Billy Bob Thornton as Jigo, Gillian Anderson as Moro The Wolf, Jada Pinkett Smith As Toki, John de Mila as Kohroku. This movie lenght 2: 13 minutes. This film tells the story of a prince named Ashitaka wandering in search of a way to remove the curse that happened to him. On the way he got to the place where the gods gather, a very beautiful forest and very peaceful. But apparently there are some people who want to upset the balance of nature in the forest and trying to fight god is there in order to get the minerals in the jungle.

Ashitaka seeks to prevent the humans who want to fight the gods, because he knew it was not the right path. Assisted by Princess Mononoke, a human princess from the wolf clan, they are united against foul intentions who want to disrupt the forests where the gods live.

Filem ini sangat bagus karena film sang master Hayao Miyazaki dibumbui dengan imajinasi yang WAH. Di film ini saya dapat melihat penggambaran dewa-dewa yang belum pernah saya lihat sebelumnya. Penggambaran yang begitu detail, begitu indah, membuat saya sejuk melihat hutan tempat tinggal para dewa. Cerita dan intrik yang ada dalam film ini juga sangat kental nilai moralnya.

Apakah kita rela menghancurkan hutan hanya demi uang semata? Dalam film ini jika dilihat dari sudut pandang para binatang yang tinggal di hutan, manusia merupakan makhluk yang sangat jahat, dan sangat rakus. Manusia mengambil hutan mereka yang berharga, membunuh para binatang dan mencoba membunuh dewa hutan. Sungguh manusia sangat rakus.
